Short Story
Atharva, a young innovator, has got the opportunity to exhibit “Schedule Alarm Clock”, his creation, to a live audience of 1500, including world-class entrepreneurs, leaders, and investors at the upcoming MoonBattle Conference 2024 in Milpitas. He will showcase “Schedule Alarm Clock” in the Show and Tell Competition.
Story
Congratulations to Atharva for designing “Schedule Alarm Clock”

Have you ever lost track of what you are supposed to do? Gone off schedule even if you jot one down? If you are one of these people, the schedule alarm clock is what you need. It is a clock that can display your schedule, so you can see what you should do every time you check the clock. This clock has a digital and analog face and a schedule to see the time. It is a simple solution to your scheduling problems.
The clock has a great many features for it to work the way it does. First of all, the user can choose between analog and digital clock faces for their clock so it can show their time preference. Some users may be used to analog wall clocks, and they may choose analog faces some may be used to digital time, and they may choose digital clock faces. The user can set the time manually or it can be automatically updated from the internet and the clock will have an auto daylight saving time change. The clock will retain the time because it uses an RTC module which allows it to save time even when the power runs out since the module runs on a 3V battery.
If you like Atharva’s project, support “Schedule Alarm Clock” by sharing and liking it.
Working demonstration
The alarm setting will allow you to choose the time of the alarm, like the hour, minute and AM/PM. Once the alarm time is reached the buzzer will sound. You can also use a potentiometer to adjust the buzzer’s volume. Similar to the schedule, there will be a check box you can check if you want to have a different alarm each day.
These many features make the schedule alarm clock both helpful and enjoyable.
This project used an Arduino board because it offers Analog and Digital ports as well as the ability to program in C++ and Python. Arduino also has time-telling and code-changing capabilities. According to All3dp.co, “Though the Arduino microcontroller board may be tiny in size, it’s capable of accomplishing mighty tasks.” Because of its capability to do a variety of tasks, I chose the Arduino for my project.
The specific Arduino we are using is, Arduino Mega because it perfectly fits on top of the 320*480 display. Arduino Mega is the largest size of Arduino which offers more Analog ports and Digital ports. It also has 50 ports and is “used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer” according to Spark Fun Electronics.
The display is the next major component. It has 320 vertical pixels and 480 horizontal pixels in its display making its images quite clear. It’s a touchscreen color display with a refresh rate of 50hz. It also is capable of displaying images by connecting a 32 GB memory card.
The Real Time Clock module, a very important part, is needed in this case because Arduino does not come with an internal clock module. The RTC module comes with a 3v CR2032 battery to remember the time even if the Arduino is powered off.
The buzzer, the last component, is used for the alarm function, the buzzer is directly connected to one of the digital outputs. The buzzer can work on 5v therefore it does not need any resistor.
The scheduled alarm clock is the best because it not only shows the time but also what you are supposed to do at that exact time. This is how a schedule alarm clock can help you keep on track and tell you the time so you can stick to your schedule even if you are a forgetful person.

- To remind user for each and every task mentioned.
- To utilize and manage the time managing the time is the most precious element
